Fungal infection which is also referred as mycosis is a skin disease caused due to fungus. It penetrates the skin through multiple touch points like plants, dirt, household surfaces and sometimes spread from other infected persons. They lead to skin problems like rashes or bumps, vaginal infection. The fungus can invade the tissue and can spread across multiple areas in the body like bones, organs and at times it spreads across the whole body. Treatment is done through medication and maintaining proper hygiene.
